CALLEIGH AND HORATIO'S LOVE STORY

CHAPTER ONE: HORATIO MEETS CALLEIGH

Calleigh woke up at 5:30 and went into the bathroom and took a shower. When she was done taking a shower she went into her bedroom and got ready for her appointment. When she was
done getting ready she went into the kitchen to make her something to eat. When she was done
eating she left for her appointment at the Miami Dade Crime Lab. Calleigh arrived at the Miami
Dade Crime Lab around 8:00am. Calleigh had an appointment for a job as a ballistics expert and
she was meeting with the head of the Miami Dade Crime Lab Lieutenant Horatio Caine.

Calleigh went to the reception desk, and got her visitor's pass and told the girl at the reception desk her name..My name is Calleigh Duquesne and I have an appointment with Lieutenant Horatio Caine.

The girl at the reception desk handed Calleigh her visitor's pass and told Calleigh that she
would let the Lieutenant know that she was here.Calleigh didn't have to wait long she could
see Horatio walking down the hall to meet Calleigh in the waiting area."Miss Duquesne my
name is Lieutenant Horatio Caine." Can you come with me and we can talk in my office said
Horatio." When they reached Horatio's office Horatio stepped aside and let Calleigh enter his
office first and Horatio entered his office last. Calleigh entered his office and took a seat on the
couch and Horatio took a seat behind his desk.

Calleigh handed Horatio her resume and Horatio was quite amazed at Calleigh's knowledge of
how guns work and how she was able to take them apart and how she was able to put them back
together."Calleigh can I see your service weapon and your backup weapon please said Horatio."
Sure said Calleigh.

Calleigh can you come with me to the shooting range please asked Horatio. Sure said Calleigh. Follow me please said Horatio. I want to see you shoot and how you dismantle your gun and how
you put it back together as well said Horatio.

When Horatio and Calleigh reached the shooting range Horatio stepped aside and let Calleigh enter the room first and then Horatio entered the shooting range last.When Calleigh entered
the shooting range she took out her weapon and started to load her weapon. When she was
done loading her weapon she put on her ear protection, and Horatio put on ear protection.
When she had her ear protection she walked over to the shooting box cocked her weatpon
and she aimed her weapon and pulled the trigger hitting her target. Then she recocked her
weapon and aimed her weapon and pulling the trigger hitting her target again and again.
You are an amazing shooter said Horatio. "Thanks" said Calleigh.
